Handy little tool. for hand tools

I got this to stuff my stepdad's stockings for Christmas. He is a mechanic and a versatile person when it comes to his family. One of his kids always has something to "fix" so I figured he might have it on hand for emergencies. The tool seems small to be effective, he said he liked it very much and carries it with him. I never saw him use it so maybe it was to not hurt my feelings. The concept seems really great, so I hope it gets a lot of spontaneous use.

Rivets come loose after a while

Ignore people who complain that it can't replace a car engine. The device is very handy for its size. For heaven's sake, it's on the keychain. What lost the star is that you should expect to lose it in about 18 months, even if you open it up and take it off the chain to use it about once a month. This is because the loops are rivets and will get lost even with accidental use, leaving them swinging around in your pocket and eventually the tool falling off your chain. A different type of hinge or

Lots of tools in a small package that only do a few things

Two flathead and two Phillips screwdrivers. A discarded place it seems. Much more useful is what is found on the Victorinox Rambler: you can get at very small screws and still be able to work with larger screws that you can find at home. This tool has no cutting edge. The classic Victorinox sd, which is much lighter and smaller, has a knife blade and excellent scissors. The only thing this tool has that the 58mm Swiss Army Knives don't have is flimsy pliers. So my advice is to get a classic…

good idea, very handy tool, but only in some situations

I received my tool today and I'm amazed at how small it is. . Because emergencies can save lives. I've noticed that such a small size can be good and bad for working with it. But for what I paid don't waste your money. This is a sweet, neat little gadget. I have yet to test it, but I'm finding out what kind of work I can do with it. , easy to carry in a keychain and understanding that this is for the light emergency I give 5 stars. Now I'm going to buy a small regular multi tool to have just in

Good tools but on a platform that makes them very difficult to use

This is an interesting little tool with many seemingly good options, but unfortunately not as practical as a keychain due to the design. . I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who needs it as a regular tool, but it's fine for casual, everyday use. Good features: - Metal construction made of durable metal - Large selection of useful tools; I wish all micro tools had these options - smart, compact design. The Bad Side: - Tools twist and fold too easily, making ALL tools wobbly and impractical to use

  • Very good value for money

Banna Joe is wrong.

I love the design of this little thing, the tools do a great job despite the size, but to say the jaws or swivels don't come loose quickly during use or immediately after a fall is a flat out Lie this is the 7th I have, I've lost 4 due to the jaws opening and it fell off my keychain somewhere at work, I've broken the hinges on others with normal use, don't get me wrong , it's a great tool, but now I'll never carry it on a keychain, even now when there was some kind of skirmish with the jaws…

Much better than nothing :)

You probably won't disassemble an engine or build a kilometer of barbed wire with this device, but it does a good job of small things around the house and especially on the go. I'm a flight attendant and one of the hardest days for me was the day I had to put my leather pants away when I went to work. On an airplane, a multi-tool comes in handy countless times, from tightening the latch to locking the wheel on the reel. It's not a leatherworker, but it's great for tightening screws, opening…

It's not leather goods, but not bad at all for the price.

As others have mentioned the lack of a knife in the tool is disappointing but I knew that was to be expected. The construction of the tool seems solid after a month in my pocket and opening a bottle. Beer, open children's toys for changing batteries, easy tightening of fasteners, etc. In general, the metal seems normal, and the shape of the tools themselves is suitable for most screws and the tasks for which they are designed. However, the shape of the entire tool makes it awkward to use. If it

Swiss+Tech Micro-Max Pocket Tool: Better Than Expected Pulse Tool

There are so many tools to choose from as we explore the ones here at Revain and regular physical store raids, but how good are they? I bought this Swiss+Tech ST53100 Micro-Max 19-in-1 Multi-Pocket Tool as an impulse buy when it came up on a lightning sale and then after I placed the order I wondered if it was really worth it. When it arrived I tested it out, playing around with all 19 different tools and trying to see if it was any better than the cloned version sitting in the register at my…
