🎒 Monochrome SwissGear ScanSmart Laptop Backpack Review

This is a very good backpack. It has many compartments for everything you might need on your trip. My 15.6 inch laptop fits in with no problem. Getting through TSA was very easy and I didn't have to completely remove my laptop. I've been using it for almost a month now and have no complaints.

We've only had the bag for a week, but it works for our purposes. Also, my son's locker at school is cramped and he finds this bag fits better in a small space, it feels a bit narrower than our last Swiss backpack but it's a bit bigger so it fits a lot. Other reviews mentioned broken zippers - our last pack lasted four years before three zippers broke so fingers crossed.

This is a very high quality bag. I use it as my daily briefcase after carrying leather shoulder bags for 20 years. It looks more "business-like" than most laptop bags, but has the functionality of a backpack. It's smaller than most Wenger backpacks but big enough for everyday use. I have a large business holdall. I still have leather shoulder bags to go to court, but this is a good compromise for everyday office use.

I bought this backpack to replace a trolley and needed all the small compartments to fit my mobile office. It was a great backpack and had everything I needed for a 15" laptop, but I had to put too many things in the large compartments where it just rattled. small chargers, power cords, mints, spare business cards, etc., and there just weren't enough small compartments to separate them.

Swissgear bag, pure black, excellent quality and at a good price. Comfortable on the back even when you pack it with books and laptop. It also features Swissgear's Smart Scan, which allows you to pass through airport security without having to take your laptop outside. Highly recommended. I've been looking for a good backpack at a reasonable price for a long time. I don't think you will regret it. UPDATE - After 2 years this backpack is still cool.

I bought this backpack to replace an old Swiss Gear backpack that was probably 10 years old. The old backpack was huge and heavy, but it held a lot of things, so it was a mixed bag for business trips. Nice bag. However, the inner pockets are thin, not very well built and thick like my previous 5 year old Swiss Army bag. I'm a casual traveler and although they have plenty of inside pockets, things stored in them may not stay in place and come out easily as the pockets aren't deep at all. I like this backpack. I bought it for work and put a 15.6" laptop in it along with a 15.6" portable monitor and I can still fit a large binder in the middle compartment. There are so many bags that meet all my needs. I was able to take this backpack as hand luggage on a domestic flight and it fits perfectly under the seat. The backpack is compact and light. The laptop compartment seems useful for traveling through security and for quick access, however it is not very practical when used as a holdall as you have to open several compartments on the top to access your work items (files , folders, etc.) etc.).
