Wire brushes came in wire pierced packaging The brushes did what they needed! ripped a lot of rust and dirt off my manifold and engine surfaces without the use of water. Lots of options. You'll probably have to throw them away afterwards.

wire brushes. I polished an old oak chair using these wire wheel tools and sandpaper. The spoked wheels really got into those hard-to-reach places. Be careful, they remove a lot of material very quickly. but saved a lot of time and the chair turned out great.

I bought this kit to clean a large pile of very rusty cast iron. These do their job perfectly. A variety of sizes and designs help you move quickly through flat areas, gently curved areas and small/tight spaces. They hold up well, which is very good considering the relatively low cost of the set. Very happy.

What you see is what you get. The photos reflect exactly what was delivered. I pre-ordered a few feather designs so can't speak to durability, but they seem to be solidly made as the two smaller ones are tied together (I wasn't expecting the cupped or "flamed" cut to be tied). All of the large brushes had "flyer" wires that were 1-2 inches longer than the rest of the brush. don't take them because, as they put it, "we're from China, we have no idea what's in the brass, and it probably isn't safe to grind." Just a reminder that I'm with I'm better off with a real tool.

They are very tight but not quite 1/4" shanks, maybe on the 16th but it matters a little when you put them on the Lay the grinder....Lots of bristles sticking out everywhere and of varying lengths.It's not entirely uncommon for a few to be bent or deviated,but they had a lot more than a few.In general I think they work well , if you trim the random elements first and only use them in practice otherwise not so good I wish I would have given more stars but even 3 was a boost for them.
