I needed to clean old steel chairs from old paint and rust and am very glad I chose this product. They work best on a high-speed corded drill. The large knotted brush got most of the work done, the smaller brush works well for tighter nooks and crannies, and the thinner brass brush works well for the thinner word where you want to measure the work surface less. I've barely lost a single bristle - maybe a few from a brass brush. Definitely a 5 star product.

Two twisted wire brushes are extremely aggressive, just right for cleaning up rust, primer, and all sorts of dirt. They're no joke. Using them will kill a cordless drill quickly - I'd recommend a heavy-duty drill, maybe a 1/2" corded drill. Used to measure rust on bolts and rusted zinc plated screws and nails from an old sea deck to chew to spray paint and fill holes before painting it will eat into the wood so you will have to fill holes which is fine if you want to prevent rust from coming back there is a narrow brush that can be used works very well in tight spots.
