worked but wasn't impressed with the buttons on the steering wheel which didn't work properly. they work, but none of them is the right answer

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Invalid part: Lighting and Electrical

The part number was incorrect. There is a label on the side with the correct part number, but the box has a different part number. The instructions are for Volvo not Nissan and the part does not look as described.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

Works on my 2011 Nissan Sentra and Pioneer Radio

The steering wheel controls stay on my 2011 Nissan Sentra on my Pioneer DMH 1500 NEX. All buttons work, one thing is odd: the power button on the steering wheel is now a talk button, a hands-free button, or in Android Auto mode, a press and hold of the power button turns on Google Assistant.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • Doubtful

Works great but not with 2013 Altima sedan

I have used this product on several Nissan vehicles and it has worked flawlessly every time. Crux says he runs a 2013 Altimas. Works ONLY with 2013 Altima COUPE. Does not work with sedan models. Unfortunately I have to use something else for this project, but when Crux is available I always buy it first. Way better to make money than the competition.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Modern

Boss radio DIP settings in Nissan Frontier are incorrect.

I liked that I didn't have to cut the wires to install the radio. However, the dip settings were incorrect. You need to use dip 5 for the Boss radio I installed. The dip 2 setting for the Nissan Frontier was correct. I've tried contacting Crux Interfacing but their website gives a 404 error but couldn't find it. I would call them but I doubt they would change the switch settings.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expandable

Working on a 2012 370z with base sound

I have a 2012 370z with base sound and it works great. Installed with Jensen CAR710W. The DIP switch is on the Nissan 2 and all buttons work as expected. The instructions should be clearer. You mention one brown wire, but there are two brown wires. One is for the car speed sensor and the other is connected to the box. I didn't have a vehicle speed sensor cable so I didn't use this cable. The rest works great!

Pros
  • Hold my fists
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Works on 2011 Nissan Sentra SR (No Navigation)

After reading all the reviews on this product I was concerned. But there are only about 2 options I could find to be able to use the buttons on the steering wheel. I bought a Sony XAV-AX5000 headpiece. Just make sure you program the DIP switches. On the one hand the brand of the radio, on the other hand the model of the car. Then connect the 2.5mm jack to the radio and possibly a cable if you have a model that requires this (I didn't need it). Then locate your Bluetooth module which I had under

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Clarity

Solved my steering wheel problem.

Purchased Metra seat belt and Axxcess steering wheel controls. Couldn't get the steering wheel controls to work at all and the metra and axxess instructions were terrible. After much research it turned out that there were no wires in the Metra wiring harness to control the steering wheel on my 2010 Atlima 2.5S. Crux found and bought as a solution. This is the wiring harness and controller already connected. The guide was much better. The wires are connected but no controller yet. Called theirโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Legacy model

Pooh. Such a headache and bad customer service

I thought it would be easy to get to know each other. The wiring is pretty easy, but the dip switches on the little box are far from correct, at least for my 2016 Nissan Frontier S King Cab. Follow the instructions and try the 2 suggested combinations. A suggestion from Crux allowed my volume button on the steering wheel to turn down the Boss radio volume and nothing else worked. Another suggestion allowed using the volume up button to change the channel from 93.3 to 93.5 and using the upโ€ฆ
