Nice color scheme. Goes well with Alexa. The silicone (or whatever) covering the LEDs is sticky and will pick up dust and dirt. Adds atmosphere to any room, but it takes more than one to illuminate a large dark room. The power source indicates suitability for wet environments, although I haven't used mine outdoors.

I've had them for about 11 months now and I've started to hear a buzzing from these light strips, mainly at the plug/adapter. It makes a high-pitched buzz and disrupts sleep when it's on. I've tried resetting Strips, switching outlets, and updating the app, but it's still there. It's a little disturbing that he's making such noises. Luckily customer service was helpful, but just try a different brand of strips.

Good part - I was able to plug this straight into my Echo Show 10" which has Zigbee built in. Added as a light and then "other " and it found it and I can turn it on and off and adjust the brightness and the color so it's a good smear why I have no idea but others have noticed too, you have to spend a lot of time with it spend trying it off or dust will stick to it, not sure if this was done on purpose or if the rubber silicone coating just dissolves in the lube.

The light bar is 100% waterproof, as is the controller. The colors are not bad, there are some issues with green, there is some yellow, red is more purple. The response is quick and works well with smart stuff. The main reason I gave it 3 stars is because I opened the box and the whole strip was slimy with grease. I tried cleaning it up and it got a lot better, but it's still there. I soaked it in Spray 9 and rubbed the entire strip twice, then filled the sink and left it there for 30 minutes…

The light is covered in a very greasy and oily layer on both sides, which means it's impossible to use double-sided mounting tape, even if you clean it thoroughly. Mounting brackets are soft and squishy and nearly impossible to install. I ended up tying the lanterns to the railing.
