As I continue to make our home smart, I will continue to buy these smart light bulbs!

At the time of writing this I bought six Sylvania smart bulbs. I have two of these in street lights and four in lamps that are indoors. I chose these bulbs because I chose HomeKit as my smart home platform and they are perfect. They are responsive and easy to manage. I've included them in a bunch of automations I've set up. When my wife or I come home, we have one of those Sylvania lightbulbs in the living room piano lamp that lights up automatically to keep us out of a dark room (it's a greatโ€ฆ

Do not buy. Not as bright as a standard lamp

I really like the functionality of the bulb, it does everything I wanted. Apple HomeKit works well No hub is a big plus Connects via Bluetooth rather than another WiFi device. Siri seemed to respond faster. Setting up different scenes or schedules for the lighting is very easy. However, if you want a lightbulb to be a different color at night, you can set that up, but the light has to come on and then gets stuck. on this setting until you change it manually. That sucks a bit, I would love toโ€ฆ

Good light, good range, good memory

I never thought I would ever buy a smart lightbulb, but I'm glad I bought this soft white LED lightbulb. I have a frequently used ceiling light and the wall switch that goes with it is in a terrible place. I was about to move the switch but it hurts a lot to cut the walls (the walls are 1930's "plaster on metal mesh" which makes any work on the walls painful and messy). So I decided to try this smart lightbulb to avoid rewiring. Setting it up with HomeKit was a breeze. I screwed the lightbulbโ€ฆ
