Changed brake hoses on a Jeep Wrangler.

Replaced the brake lines on my Jeep Wrangler while jacking up my Jeep so I don't have to use a brake line bracket mover which puts a lot of stress on the carbide brake line.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • unreliable

Good brake lines fit Spare parts

2012 Jeep JK with an actual lift of 2.75. One of my factory brake lines had teflon pad damage and I had uneven front braking and an outboard caliper. I switched to these lines and replaced both front calipers at the same time. I routed them the same way as the stock lines, but left some slack at the end of the caliper to keep the axle slack. While anything would be better than stock brake lines, they are definitely worth the money. Be sure to soak the flange nuts in penetrating oil overnightโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • I don't like it that much, everything is fine

Looks good and feels solid.

After I installed a 2.5" lift on my 2008 JKU, which was more like a 4", I installed these brake lines. Installed two sets. There is a right line and a left line. Before deleting an existing one, simply hold up one of these to see which one you have in hand. They look good and are easy to put on. I may have just spent $200 on brake hoses, but I feel the brakes feel stiffer than stock Jeep lines. I was able to use the standard mounts, you just need to experiment which way you turn them so you can

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Buyer Beware Jeep JK Sahara

I'll start with the good. The quality looks good. I think they are well built. They came with all the necessary equipment with one caveat (more on that later). The bad thing is, it's SHORTER than the factory lines. These lines are also shorter than the factory brake lines. I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK Sahara Edition and I took off my factory line and compared and they are an inch shorter. I installed the driver's side line since I had no choice and routed it differently than the factory lineโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Little Competition
Cons
  • Update Availability

I will be selling front brake cables on Craigs List, they will NOT work when using front reservoir shocks, nor will they work if You can also use two speed wheels with external shock absorbers at the front. The cable gets caught under the reservoir shock and also hits the shock mount with the brake line bend. I went into full articulation a couple of times on my last off-road excursion, and while installing the suspension dampers, I experienced these brake line issues. Metal Cloak brake linesโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
