Works very well right out of the box, not sure if there is some sort of lube or anything but it slides very easily. Marked for single use but for personal use I use many times. I applied some oil spray around the plunger after washing to make it easier to use for multiple uses.

I use these to feed my father with dementia, it really saved his life. This is how we can feed him in the advanced stage of dementia. The quality is fantastic, highly recommend if you are working with a dementia patient. This is great for Sure or Pedialyte with a thick layer inside.

I opened one of these syringes and noticed that it had a strange smell, almost like motor oil. Then I saw that there was something inside. I don't know what it is, but it's thick and sticky and smells chemical. I checked the second syringe (pack of 2) - same substance and smell. It was difficult for me to get rid of my fingers as part of them were on the outside of the syringe. This is the first time I've seen anything like this with syringes, very strange and disturbing.
