Arrived undamaged. They are a little difficult to open and fill until you get the hang of it. They would be well suited for travel due to their unusually small size. I have small hands and find them comfortable. But my husband has a hard time using them as he says they are "too small for him to turn easily by hand". Decent price too.

Lately I've been working very long hours and they don't have spices in the kitchen and I really prefer freshly ground pre-ground - ground so they are IDEAL for work, camping or travelling. It's good to know that the tops "pop out" and don't screw on, it took me a while to figure this out as there were no instructions at all, but it might just have been me. Like the small size, wouldn't mind if they were a bit wider just for easier grip and twist to grind the spices.

I bought these to keep on my desk and use during lunch breaks. To fill them you have to pull the lid to open and put the lid back on after filling the grinder. The reason I didn't give this item 5 stars is because I feel like there might be issues removing the top and replacing the stuffing (the rod that turns the grinder and attaches to the top seems a little flimsy, and over time there may be problems. It looks like the rod is made of plastic). Also, a big reason is that these are so small…

It looks nice and is small enough to be easy to handle. Just turning it is enough to grind the salt crystals. The problem I found is that it always skips salt crystals. So I have to turn it upside down so the salt doesn't spill out of the grinder + I had to clean the table every time someone picks up the grinder.
