I'm not a hairdresser to begin with, but I do about 90% of my life and I take a lot of notes. I haven't shaved since I started shaving my head but I have 2 pairs of T-Outliners and 1 GTX Blade that I use to smooth my facial hair. Once again, Barber Chuka has made an excellent product. This is how you can set your knives to be free of backlash in no time at all! The only reason it gets 4 stars from me and not 5 is the quality of the product. The material feels a little cheap and unreliable and almost broke when I installed my first pair of trimmers. Although I can set the knives to zero gap myself, that helps a lot and guarantees a perfect zero gap.

I usually adjust the blades by hand but decided to try this product to save time. By following the instructions carefully, I was unable to set up my Andis Outliner II, or at all. There was no notch - or so small that it didn't matter - for the bottom knife's teeth (as shown in the picture in the instructions) so the upper smaller knife couldn't be adjusted as it sits too far back. Pretty simple concept but poor quality control. It seems to work for others as long as you get one done right.

Works as advertised. In between haircuts I like to keep my two boys with a nice clean headband so their hair doesn't look unmanageable. It was always stressful because they would tense up and talk about how "sharp" the blades were. I tried separating the blades but that didn't give the clean line that the barber makes. I bought this a few months ago and have used it with my Andis wired T-Liner and now with my new Andis cordless T-Liner. Will this work with a wireless Andis T-Linder? I'm guessing it's because the blades look the same, but I'm asking because I look like I got into a fight with Wolverine and only narrowly escaped. This is my third setter that I have bought from Rich Barber for my various trimmers. Now the knife teeth sometimes don't have exactly zero play, but it always depends on how much pressure you put on the moving knife. I don't know why others have problems. As a safety net, use a magnifying glass to see how close it is! The product is amazing! I've been wearing T-Outliners for about 18 months. Before using this on a trimmer they never hit very hard which means the line has always been good but never great. False liners have traditionally required going over the same area of the head multiple times when aligning the haircut. After using "Money?" Ooooh! Day and night. Once and the hair is crisp!
