This insert is very nice. I'm surprised Chevy didn't put this on their new trucks as it gives the grille a much more finished look! Costs money

Looks great and fits great, toss the instructions away! Took 15 minutes from start to finish with just a Phillips screwdriver, 10mm socket and ratchet and I didn't have to remove anything. I replaced the Dorman #455930BP body bolts as someone suggested, with washers attached they are easier to use than the supplied 6mm allen wrenches with loose washers.

Fits well looks fantastic installation went great when I found out the included brackets didn't work. Went to local auto parts store and bought 4 M6-1.0 x 25mm hex head bolts with captive washers (body bolts) and 4 u-nuts. Use them to install the brackets on the radial support. No need to remove the radiator cap and grille, it's best to toss the instructions in the trash along with 4 bolts and u-nuts and washers. This product is very attractive. Something GM had to provide. Fits the area perfectly. Delivery arrived early. Would give it 5 STARS but the included mounting hardware was EXTREMELY difficult to use during installation. The U clamps were the wrong size as mentioned in other reviews. Even with a 3 inch short screwdriver, it is not possible to use Phillips screws. I had to replace the hex bolts with 5/16" heads and replace the U-clamps with longer ones. However, there is no way to use the included screws to attach their mounting brackets, even if you follow their instructions there simply isn't enough room between the oil cooler and the bracket to fit a screwdriver, even a short one.
