5-Star Manila Rope by T.W Evans Cordage - 1/2-Inch x 50-Feet Review

Preferred this brand to another as I wanted to avoid an oily smell. It only smells lightly and I doubt it can be avoided with a rope like this. Good for learning how to make bumpers. A little stiffer than I expected but I have nothing to compare as I'm new to this.

Bought to use on our lake house porch. So far it has withstood the weather very well. All the neighbors love it. Update - 4 years later and the rope is holding up very well, just discoloration. This was to be expected. Will replace this year and spray with waterproof spray. We were very satisfied!

Good strong rope at a good price. It arrived on time and in good condition. We have used it in many different theatrical applications. Looks great on stage as a prop, good for tying and tying. It comes off at the ends so we used purple tape to hold it together if that was a problem.

I use this rope as a clothesline for large or heavy items. I love that it's made from a natural material that has been used for centuries. Excellent texture, linen does not stick, feels comfortable. At first it stretched more than I expected but now seems to be holding up well. Shipping took quite a long time.
