This knife removes a deep layer of fruit/vegetables. I bought it specifically for this purpose, for items that need deeper cleaning than a standard knife.

It's amazing how easy it is to peel potatoes with this peeler! The handle is made of rubber, doesn't slip out of your hand and the blade is very sharp! I ordered it for my sister and she loves it!

probably the worst knife I've tried. The blade is thin, thin and not even sharp. She had a hard time breaking the carrot's skin. Casing made of cheap plastic. Dollar store level product. Do not buy.

This is a very accurate and useful tool. It works better than any other scrub I've tried. My only complaint is that the sticky protective material protecting the rim was very difficult to remove.

The potato peeler supposedly came with cellophane on the blade to be safe, but it was completely stuck to the blade. I had to tear it apart while cutting my finger. I never managed to completely remove the cellophane. To compound the injury, it wasn't sharp enough to easily peel potatoes or carrots.
