🎲 Enhanced Creative Play with Tabletop Cylindrical Shaping Review

I bought this for my husband's office (he is an engineer) and he says it's a great success. We've thrown in kinetic sand and a couple of little tonka trucks, and everyone who comes to their office for meetings can't resist playing with them. We call it his Engineering Zen Garden :)

For the price it was worth it. But it's very simple. The wood is unfinished and the "tools" are just ah. The size is so-so. Perfect for a small table or a toddler. I'm giving my 3 year old daughter some kinetic sand for Christmas, but I might try painting or gluing it beforehand so the kinetic sand doesn't leave a mark. I've seen others that look better but cost about three times as much so I'll take that for what I paid.

This is a good alternative to the more expensive version, but it looks and feels a lot cheaper. The edges aren't as smooth as the well-known branded sandbox I've used in the past. Because the edges of the shape aren't as smooth as a circle, it's difficult to get the sand out without shaking it out. The knife is just great. All in all, if you've never used or seen the more expensive version and don't want to spend money on it, this tablet will do and you won't even notice the differences listed…
