I'm a coach and this is the ball I need for our U12 teams. It has the perfect softness and is a great ball for beginners. They are also durable and have often been asked by referees to use our balls as cue balls because they retain air and are in great shape. I recommend having 2 balls, one for indoor use only and the other for outdoor use.

I am impressed with the texture and quality of this volleyball. I just used a cheaper hand pump and it didn't take long. I have already paid for 3 volleyballs that I bought from dept stores and they all lost air within 2 weeks or all lost air together and this ball just got to my daughter and she played with it A LOT and no deflation!
