Description of πŸ“± Enhance Coding Skills with Tacto Coding PlayShifu App Based Toy

TACTO CODING by PlayShifu helps early learners THINK code with exciting gameplay and bite-sized sequences. Did you know, it has been designed and created by coder parents?! Tacto makes coding fun and easy through interactions with VISUAL elements, NOT blocks of code. Kids drive the games on screen using real figurines, hands-on play that turns the tablet into a coding adventure!. Unlike many coding kits, Tacto Coding focuses on a LOT MORE than just direction-based coding. It incorporates the fundamental concepts of coding – inputs-output, loops, sequencing, decomposition, and branching. But, with engaging and age-specific storytelling!. FOR AGES 4-10, there are 3 different games with 200+ CHALLENGES that become increasingly difficult as you play through them. A child could play and learn from it for a much longer period progressing to advanced levels than other kits that tend to cater to a smaller age bracket. The BOX contains 2 frames and 5 figurines (draw, rotate, slide, and 2 function figurines). Attach the 2 frames on the sides of your tablet and place the figurines in their slots. Pick a game and begin your coding journey - spread happiness with Mr. Buffy or go on a treasure hunt with Moka-Ika!. COMPATIBLE DEVICES: Tacto works with a range of tablets: iPads 5 and above (iPad 2 and iPad Mini 1 not supported) Android tabs 7-inches and above, minimum 2GB RAM (Samsung Tab A not supported), Fire HD 8 - 2018, 2020, Fire HD 10 - 2021(Fire 7 not supported). Tacto app is absolutely free to download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and works even without the internet (no ads or in-app purchases).

Fun Learning Tool - Learning & Education

Great learning tool for kids to learn the basics of STEM. The passage is easy and the plot involving animals is interesting. Sometimes we have to repeat certain actions for it to appear, but the baby still loves it. Overall a good and interesting product!

Great game to introduce kids to coding!

I teach coding as an after school activity for high school students and I love that this game allows me to introduce these concepts to my 6 and 4 year olds. They love playing the iPad game and I love that it's hands-on and introduces them to the concepts of sequencing and coding.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons

Ideal for programming beginners. Have fun!

This was our first coding kit and it was so much fun! As a mom, I loved seeing all four of my kids, ages 4-11, having fun, focusing, and working together to complete each level. The set includes 5 figures and 2 games that load in addition to the 3rd game that is coming soon. The figures are perfect for small hands and there is a game for everyone. It's tough but fun! Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Without Machine

Programming for kids! - Learning & Education

I'm trying to find educational and STEM activities for my 7 year old stepdaughter so I bought her this programming game from PlayShifu. There are two frames and 5 figures in the box, cute and durable. It has 3 games with over 200 challenges that increase in difficulty. My stepdaughter loves that she turns her Kindle Fire into a game board. The games are very interactive and easy to navigate. Also, the graphics are great. would recommend.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Something different

tact time! in educational electronic toys

We are big fans of Play Shifu sets, and we have Plugo Letters and Plugo Links. This is my favorite playset for kids. The included characters are cute and durable. They really like how the game kit turns the tablet into a game board. We love how interactive it is and how easy it is to use and navigate. It is convenient to take with you to restaurants or when traveling as it is small and composed of several separate parts, easy to carry. There are many games in the Tacto coding suite.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Small problems

great addition to our PlayShifu collection

Big fan of Plugo Tactp and this coding set is no exception. Parts work directly on the tablet to interact with the app. Our kids use it with Android and Fire tablet. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the app doesn't have enough levels, it just means more are coming soon. As this applies to most PlayShifu sets we have (there are 5 now!) it didn't hurt to buy more as we love what this company does. But time will tell if they actually finish their apps or just keep adding…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Zero
