Very good torque wrench

This torque wrench is just what I needed to work on my bike. Has the range I was looking for, easy to read and very accurate. Great deal for the price.

Great tool and price

Exactly what I needed and at a great price. Torque accuracy appears to be excellent. On a couple of critical bolts, I would notice if I overtightened them because my front suspension was binding. There are no fasteners and the bolts stayed in place after a few hundred rough miles.

Cardan - Bullshit

A torque wrench is great, BUT if the cardan shaft constantly disengages and thus leaves the socket with a candle. Well it's just a pain. It became obvious that the problem was in the joint and now I have to buy another gimbal and hope it's better.

Great torque wrench for limited range

I already have several 1/4" to 3/4" drive torque wrenches. However, I did not have a torque wrench that could accurately measure torque in the middle of the 5 to 45 ft-lb range. Area. This tool filled that gap. The instrument appears to be well made and the scales are reasonably easy to read. As others have pointed out, the rotating vernier scale can only be used in conjunction with the foot-pound. linear scale, not Nm scale. If this is a problem you can always convert Nm to foot pounds. with a

Attention Metric fans! Great for ft-lb. Not for Nm.

I have decided not to buy a digital device due to a chronic problem with swapping out batteries when I need to use something right away. The instrument itself looks good and feels solid. I will continue testing while I collect the motor. One problem, however, could easily have been prevented. The bar has a ft-lb and Nm scale. Another precision scale is located on the bar handle. The caveat here is the accuracy scale, which only applies to foot-pounds (0 to 4 foot-pounds in 0.4 increments). If…
