Fits perfectly Spare Part

I installed them on a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Ideal for replacing original parts. Easy to install, it only took a few minutes. The tailgate lifts and stays like new.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Fits almost best in spare parts

There is a small tab that fits in the hole next to the mounting screws. When the screws are installed and loosely tightened, the tab will not line up with the hole. Just flip it to the side and tighten the screws.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some little things

Shocks, struts and suspension didn't last long

I bought them in November. It's May now. I opened the tailgate a total of 6 times over the winter. Opened today and they no longer hold the gate. Rather disappointed. I hope everyone else has better luck with them than me.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Expensive

It works better than the new

It's better than the ones my car came with, probably because it's an old A** car but also because they are really very good! Rather than avoiding the door falling on me, I barely have to avoid her raising my hand without me, though you might need a friend to get her together.

Pros
  • Quality finish
Cons
  • Negative impression

Although these parts seemed good, I still gave 4 stars

Be careful when ordering these parts, the one I ordered does not fit my jeep. I had to get one that was compatible with the "Sport" versions of the Cherokee. They have large hatches and no cutouts for mounting. Those details seem good so I gave it 4 stars anyway.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Almost never

Easy to Install - Lift Legs

My old struts wouldn't hold the tailgate on my '97 Jeep Grand Cherokee. really easy to install. I didn't know there was a left brace and a right brace, so. I tried putting the left rack on the right side. It was easy to see that it wasn't going to work. Once my temporary stupidity was over, the installation took about 5-10 minutes. they work fine

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
