The description is NOT correct at all. There is nothing in this product that gives a sense of "elasticity". This is a sturdy, thick, uncomfortable plastic camera mount chain with a cheap flimsy clasp. Good idea but very poorly designed and the description is VERY ERROR!

This necklace mount is simply amazing. The best position for a POV shot is on a person's chin. This is the best alternative to it. The necklace is attached and has a clasp to ensure it doesn't fall apart. I wore it on a kayak cave tour for about 3 1/2 hours and it didn't hurt my neck. Highly recommended!

No Crying! This is a cheap product, cheaply made but worth the money! At $14.99 this is a unique addition to my many GoPro mount options and I'm very glad I have it. I have chest straps but they are complex and bulky, it's quick, easy and straightforward. I use this with GoPro cameras and I could easily wear it all day and forget it's there. I understand that this plastic thing will be easy to break, but I will treat it with respect and expect to get paid more than $15 for it.

The video was shot with a GoPro Hero 8 and you can see the camera is perfect for what I use it for. I record fishing videos and reviews of fishing products. You can tilt the camera up and down on the mount. So if you want to take a photo or video of your hands doing something at waist level, that works too. Well made and the clasp provides security when lockable. Overall, this is one of the most comfortable mounts I have for my GoPros. Better and more comfortable than my head and chest straps.

UPDATE: The closure of the product has been completely redesigned. Conclusion, a perfect fit but made of cheap plastic that breaks easily. This product fits a standard GoPro mount and fits my 16.5 inch neck. On first use it worked great, holding the GoPro right under my chin with a stable, secure fit and feel. When I was done shooting for the day, I put this product back in my bag. When I used it again the next day, I found that one of the two pins on the connector latch was broken. The cheap…

For various reasons I wish I had a hands-free camera around my neck. But this device does not meet my needs as I consider it a bad design. The latch that holds the two halves of the mount sits just below the thumbscrew for a GoPro-style mount. I have arthritis and limited mobility and strength in my fingers. The neckband is great for hands-free video recording. I'm 5ft 6in and he sits at a good height to capture the views/people around me. I wore it in the sea and it held up well even when I was thrown into the water by a big wave. Also issues with TSA who carry this at the airport. Fits well if you're also wearing black so people don't really notice until they see your GoPro's red button flashing while you're recording.
