Super well done! for kitchen and dining room

This is a really well made product. It is very easy to make iced tea with it. Lowering the tea infuser into hot water is very easy as it screws into the lid of the pot. Once brewed, lift it back up and lower it into the provided cup (nice touch, though each cup does the same job). Fill up with ice until the end, screw on the lid and shake. This is actually a very nice feature. The tall design of the pot prevents you from spilling hot tea if you drop it on the ice. And once tightly closed, you…

Slim enough to fit neatly in the fridge

This jug is pretty good. Nice enough to be on the table when you have guests. But I'm not sure if it's worth the price. The tea strainer assembly parts are all made of plastic and screwed together. The problem is that they don't match. It was difficult for me to connect the parts properly. Then to the lid. They kept wanting to misconnect something so it took a few minutes to get it right. The lid then screws into the base, which was a lot easier. The size is perfect for an afternoon iced tea…

So I adapted copycat recipes to get the tastiest homemade versions, and now I can easily make a week's worth of tea with the Takeya Ice Tea Maker in a short amount of time with no additional ingredients and no over-brewing. It used to be more difficult. For me, I make my clone tea recipes as I had to boil two pots of hot water in a kettle and then leave the…

Am I missing something here?

Sorry but what are you talking about? Honestly I'm confused by all of these reviews that this thing looks like a miracle they've been waiting for or can't live without, an item that their friends and families were so impressed with that they all immediately went and their own jars bought from cool bright lids. Let me be blunt: I pour hot water into a pitcher, dip in the infusion which will of course displace some of the water that more concentrated tea might contain, then wait the required 2-5…
