I travel around the world a lot, I've had this belt, it worked fine for two trips, then on the third trip on the way back the buckle came loose and wouldn't buckle . It's back together and it sucks. For what you pay you should get a much better buckle I wouldn't recommend

I bought this belt for my husband because he is allergic to nickel. My attention was drawn to the fact that it has a lockable polycarbonate buckle. It is very durable and does not cause an allergic reaction in the husband. This is actually his second Big & Tall Hiker belt. We will definitely buy more.

is the second one I've bought and I hope this one doesn't fall apart in a few days. Next time it plays out and makes the belt smaller. The clasp comes off very easily. He's only had it a few days and it's already falling apart. Next time I will buy from another company :(

The belt was comfortable and securely fastened but I was only able to wear it once because after removing my pants I stepped on the buckle, the belt pulled through and broke in half. Carpet on the floor, in a pile of fabric.

I love this belt they don't slip and do not dissolve. I had my last one for about a year and a half and it eventually broke from stepping on it so this is a replacement, super comfy, easy on and off.

The fabric of the belt was strong and the length was good but the buckle was just incredibly cheap especially for the price

Works great as does the metal free buckle, not sure how long it will last but great for four due to security, only retracts, is strapping material.
