Installed in the living room. There is a lot of light and I like the white color. I had 3 lights from different companies and this one proved to be the easiest to install. The light will work much better in rooms with high ceilings as the light is not slanting to the sides but is somewhat directional. hp View page requests to rate motion detection. I'm scared of anything electrical or plumbing. It was incredibly easy, we bought 3 different sizes and 6 lamps in total. 15.8 (4 of them), 8.9 inches (1 of them) and 12 (about, I can't find the box (1) they can accommodate the areas I put them in and I'm happy with them. I wish I knew they make them with smart lighting too as I switch our lights to smart lighting whenever possible.

This light is not that easy to install as it is too big to hold when plugged in. For this size (15+ inches) you will need to design a temporary hanger to ease installation. However, the biggest problem is that the light is not very bright. 3600 lumens cannot exist in any way. I had two 800 lumen LED bulbs in a fixture I was replacing and this thing puts out less light (or, to put it bluntly, a comparable amount of light).
