PE Essential is good for sewing tools

I have the larger pliers from Tamiya and they are great. This smaller version is good too. In fact, to work with PE, you can use both large and small pliers.

Pros
  • Is it worth the money
Cons
  • Could have gotten a newer model

Not very durable: Sewing tools

Good, but a rubber spring would be better than a metal spring. The teeth of the pliers can move slightly. Not very impressed for the money. You can do more with less

Pros
  • A little above

Get the sewing done

Nice needle nose pliers that work well for their intended purpose. My only concern is that the spring mechanism is made of plastic, which can become brittle over time and break or lose its flexibility. In addition, the pliers are well designed and made of high quality materials.

Unexpected Gap best in Sewing Notions & Supplies

I would expect a tool for bending photo-etched parts to have jaws (for lack of a better word) that are flush with each other. so without spaces. Not this one. Only the tips meet. There is a gap the rest of the way to the hinge, allowing longer pieces to move freely when the tip is clamped. It's not very helpful for its intended purpose

Cons
  • I'll write later

Simple and Thoughtful

Of the various photo etching tools I have used, this is the simplest and the best. I think they're better than pliers because the angled cross-section of the jaws allows them to be bent a little over 90 degrees to offset the metal's natural springiness. Clamping the part precisely was easier than with my folder because I can adjust the pressure with my hand, allowing me to slide the part until it lines up. I also found it to be less prone to losing traction. I can also see and access the top…

Pros
  • Sew
Cons
  • High Price
