My friend started making summer sausage, we had to use cotton thread to tie the ends which was a pain. These sticks work much better and allow for quick sealing of the sausages. As long as two fingers up.
Bought this package for a tomato cage making tip. A friend actually used it and he subsequently warned me that the crimping tool "stripped" a bit with minimal use. But in the end it did the job I bought it for.
Bought these to finish the 3/8 inch rubber line. Straight back clamps are not suitable for this purpose (need round back clamps), pliers are cheaply made. The clamp groove is inaccurate, so the clamp cannot be installed directly in the pliers, causing difficulties in use. The pliers are barely enough to hold the included 3/4" clamps, further complicating the "squaring" problem. Bottom line: I made a bad decision and basically threw $15 in the trash with this purchase. I hope others don't makeโฆ
