A tool for the job. Nice engraved/carved handle pattern and the recessed head was perfect for not damaging the rivets and keeping them in place while you take them home.

This tool is very easy to design and use. a brass or steel flat-tipped hole punch that works. However, the short length can offer more precise control and the possibility of pinching a finger or thumb.

Works as expected. I'm not a fan of rivets, but I was able to fix a nylon belt bag with bad stitching. Easy to use when you have a good hard surface to drive the rivets into. I used an iron vise. Perfectly rounded rivet heads. They looked professional although I don't know anything about these types of repairs. I would recommend it.

Tandy 8056-00 anvil, 8100-00 riveting tool and various types of rivets. I've never riveted anything before, but this made things easier. If you've never done this before, try a few attempts with a pry bar. It turned out that a few small taps worked much better than one hard tap. It's also important to keep the rivet centered on the anvil, hit the rivet setter straight, and hit it straight with the hammer - I set a few rivets a little crooked before realizing this.
