Have been using the Tandy locking system for many years. This snap fastener is suitable for all professional snap fasteners. Would recommend this product to anyone who can swing/hit with a hammer. All you need from the tools is a hammer and a hard pad, everything else is included.

This isn't some super crazy high quality lock installation kit, it's the simplest basic lock installation tool. This product is designed to install line 24 interlocks and it does just that. These are sets with many options and adjusters available, but for a beginner this is just a necessary cheap thing. Includes setter, 2 pairs of latches, anvil and instructions. The only negative is the lack of a hole punch, but that's critical.

The problem is that the anvil is too curved and too flat, so when tilted, the latches slide sideways, causing the cap and socket to slip out of the anvil and bending the post in the socket. Oddly enough, you can buy one of these sets for about a dollar more than a regular 10-bolt set from the same company. In addition to 10 other snaps you will receive a snap and an anvil. I bought a ruler in 24 sizes. This represents pretty good value as you get more than double what a normal set of bindings, setter and anvil would be.
