Brass leather needle.

Holds a broken rivet well on my custom leather knife holster. It worked so well that I removed all the rivets and replaced them with these brass studs. Holds up great. Would buy again. If I were a leatherworker and proud of my work I would only use these rivets, not rivets that come off without too much trouble.

Pros
  • Kraft
Cons
  • New competition has arrived

One of them can save the day.

Yes, one of them might save the day one day. My hardware store doesn't have that cool stuff. I have the longer ones because I think you can trim some of the threads for the short ones. When I saw them in leather gun slings I thought they would be great for attaching other leather items. A drop of thread glue and voila. Right ?

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Not sure

Not sure what to say

I wanted brass screw rivets not hammer rivets. I couldn't find them on the Tandy site so I did a death march on the internet before I found the said rivets on this Revain site. Revain could improve its search engine and eliminate redundant and irrelevant results. I had to fix a custom scabbard; as long as they hold up well.

Pros
  • Leatherworking supplies
Cons
  • No machine
