This is a high quality tooling leather. I did this a few weeks ago. I'm certainly not a professional locksmith, but you don't have to be either. One of them will look great if you just color and sew the skin. A leather case lasts 10 times longer than a plastic one. It costs money and time to make yourself a quality case.

Overall I like it. It is very durable. The only drawback is the supplied Velcro. Round Velcro "hook" works well - sticks well. The weak point is the large square "hairy" part. Don't glue well, and if you do, the "wool" will come off. But all is not lost. I removed the original "wool" squares and wiped them down with alcohol wipes. The case was easy to assemble. I bought the X-Large because the next smaller size was too small for my LG Aristo. There is some free space but if I put a protective case on my phone it fits. I gave four stars because the leather was hard and after I applied the top coat the top where the lid was folded had a superficial tear.
