Different shades!

Approximately 1mm in diameter, consists of 5 strands wound together. Waxed for easier threading. Durable and water repellent. color fast. UPDATE: Second order, I'm deducting a star for the noticeable difference in color tone. No fault of the seller. This stuff is probably made in China. Rely on the Chinese for inconsistencies in their products.

Pros
  • Freehand
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Wrong product returned. I ordered a brown thread (1220-02). Received a black thread (1220-01). The transparent outer shell showed the number 1220-02. But in the Tandy case was 1220-01 Black. The item was returned via Kohl. I reordered the brown thread 1220-02. Update: Backorder item received. Same issue as the original order.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

If you're using an awl, you might get lucky, but I often keep a needle point handy to make threading the needle easier. After my project is fully sewn, I…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Socket required
