Makes the job easy

I keep a spare keg in the fridge in my garage in case one of my faucets stops working, but I've decided to open that keg up too so I have more options. It works great and the push button pump is the perfect solution for spaces with limited open space.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Some maintenance required

Works perfectly. first

This thing works really well, but as your keg gets lower you're going to have WAY more beer problems. When I first used it we thought the keg floated because we couldn't pour any more beer, turns out we had to rock like crazy about halfway through. I think it would be great for small kegs, but for big ones? hmm

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

The best faucet you can buy. Made in the USA?

I think it's made in the USA which is great but I can't confirm at the time of writing this. Instead of the traditional black-gloved wand you often see, it's just a giant button that auto-returns. It's much more convenient than traditional faucets - all you have to do is bend over the button and press it a few times. Seems super durable, well made. Something I will keep for a long time.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Bought a pair from Kegs & Kegging

One of the best faucets I've bought. I use them for parties and did this at my wedding. It helps. The only problem is that one of those faucets wasn't providing enough pressure. Finally, after several tries, I let it go for a while. Tried again, still had the same problem. I switched the taps and both worked fine. I found it a little strange, but there was a solution to my problem. All in all just a not so good experience out of many uses. I would recommend always having a spare faucet…

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good

Worked great the first few times

I bought this for parties and it worked great for the first few uses but the mechanism soon developed a leak which allowed air in after about 4 uses. As a result, the escaping beer was completely frothy and you could no longer get a solid stream of beer. Up to this point I've cleaned it every other use, but I don't understand how air can escape if I haven't cleaned after those few uses. I think there are better longer lasting products on the market but this price is hard to beat.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Faucet Monster!: Home Brewing & Winemaking

I got this in a keg for pennies at a little bar I help run. This thing works. It's easy to use. It survives in the environment. It cleans easily. Count me in! We've had great success and our PBR is running so damn smooth. UPDATE: Dude, he died on us. But it took a lot longer than I really expected for the price (damn, almost a year). What went wrong you ask? I'm not 100% sure, but I want to say that the spring in the piston failed. It won't push much more than a single fart is worth. Eh, it was

Great faucet for the money and more

I bought this because the keg didn't connect to my dual faucet kegerator (see my other kegerator review). It seemed to me that the sledge didn't go deep enough to ensure the flow. I bought it and it arrived in two days. I hooked up a stubborn keg and wallah, a nice flow of beer. This barrel pump is very flat, looks great and works great! Cleaning is even easier by simply immersing it in water. If you're an avid beer drinker, I highly recommend buying one of these to have on hand "just in case".

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor issues
