Had to return twice. Once the sound went away, the second time it wouldn't go out. He got really hot. I can say that while working he kicked my Skar DV 8 harder than a bucking Mustang. The small size is another plus.

I was totally disappointed in this amp. I don't believe for a second that it put out 400 watts. I doubt I would buy Taramps again as this was my second time. The first stopped working within a week, but this one seemed very weak

I would not recommend this product to anyone. With 400w speakers at 2 ohms RMS properly connected, I ran this amp for a full 1.5 hours before the + and - speaker output stopped working completely. Judging by the reviews, this is a repeated marriage of the manufacturer.

I read about these amplifiers and waited a long time to test one. I bought this for my 860W 8" Infinity subwoofer with 250W RMS into 4 ohms. I have a speaker in a ported cabinet and I screwed this little amp to the back of the box. I was happy. But a week, after i started playing the bass driving down the road - the amp died! now i live in south america - shipping back to the us is more than the cost of the amp.

Overall this amp is great. Pros: It's tiny It runs cool It barely puts out rated power Cons: The power and ground terminals are too small. For an amp that can draw up to 50 amps, the power connectors are too small to fit a standard 8 gauge plug, forcing you to look for special connectors/rings or cut what you have . Amplifier powerful and sounds good but doesn't shut down after a short run. I'll return it and get a better one. I have to reassemble because it uses 10 gauge and every comparable amp uses 8 gauge. I do not recommend. In addition, the instructions are mostly written in Portuguese.

I ordered this amp on August 15th. Received very quickly. After installation, the device is on, but there is no sound. We put it in my truck and replaced another working amp. Same problem. I sent it back for a refund and it was received by the seller on Friday 28th August. So far no return. The email I received from the seller asked for the tracking number! For real? So I've kept this little man for the last 3 weeks. Hooked it up to a Pioneer TS-SWX2002 8-panel subwoofer rated at 150 RMS, it should be a breeze for this little fella. As for the sound quality, it was great until it just stopped playing. It happens as if everything is fine, with little blue light but no sound.
