Excellent countersink, best drill bit

I needed an 82 degree countersunk head for a router and this one did the job perfectly. I cut carefully, all four holes went perfectly. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to deal with this tough stuff.

Pros
  • 5 flute design for smooth cuts with no vibration
Cons
  • So far so good

Perfect for me Suitable for drill parts and accessories

I use this to prepare brass for hand loading ammo. I stick it in my drill bit and use it to bevel the inside edge of each case that I cut to length. I can do 30 boxes a minute with it. works great for this app and I couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • Bevel angle: 82 degrees; Diameter: 1/2 inch
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Not as sharp as I imagined

Was hoping I could use this to drill some 5/16 to 5/8 holes in 3/16 steel plate. This drill is not sharp enough to do this job on just one side of the metal. I've used countersinks that are more than sharp enough for this purpose, so I was quite surprised to find this one starting to choke. However, this bit is strong enough to be used for its intended purpose, just to bevel a hole, so I can't complain too much. If you can reach both sides of the metal with a drill bit, you can probably drill a

Pros
  • HSS countersink for use in steel, iron etc.

  • Slightly torn
