High-quality dog food at an affordable price!

After trying to find something cheaper with the same quality I finally gave up. This is a quality dog food at a great price. I have read so many dog food brand reviews and there are always products that cost a lot more. The variety of tastes is great, but for small breeds there is only one. As I now look forward to keeping this for my little one for the rest of her life I have purchased various flavors of freeze dried dog treats (Purebites brand which I highly recommend) which I crumble up and…

EPA free, DHA drying

I was hoping my Cavalier toy pup would like this more than my High Prairie Puppy and at first she seemed to like it. Honestly, she doesn't eat regular dry food without a topper. I mixed this with TOW High Prairie puppy food to transition her to adult food now that she is 7 months old. However, it was only when I received the product that I realized that it was an adult food that did not contain salmon oil, i.e. no EPA or DHA. If I continue to use this food I will need to supplement omega 3,6,9…

After thousands of dollars in vet bills, I discovered that the reason my dog was terminally ill that I almost had to put him to sleep was this dog food. Thinking I was going for a quality dog food I bought this one. Strangely, around the same time, my dog started having stomach issues, vomiting, bloody stools, and weight loss. Wants to poop every 15 minutes at night. Veterinary examinations for some reason were negative. That went on for months. She recovered when I switched her diet to rice…

Dogs love it(d), but there are better options

I've wanted to try Taste of the Wild for a long time. Well, not exactly me, but the dogs. Speaking for them, they are both small breeds and they have problems with larger hunks. You could see that Taste of the Wild was a lot easier for her to eat than with the other smaller pellets. The lesson learned was that while other foods contain small grains, they can be rock hard and difficult to eat. penetrate However, what worries me is that after a few days they lost interest in food. I checked the…

Usually in Acana and Orijen, but. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I have been feeding my dogs Acana and Orijen for many years with good results. However, one of my dogs developed digestive problems this summer. After several visits to the vet, the lab, and some medication, the vet suggested the problem was food related. I'm through packages fast (4lbs), I have two other dogs that eat the same food and I threw away all the food twice (as a precaution) so I didn't think it was likely. The working theory was that the heat in which the food was stored/transported
