There is no switch. Product came with dead battery

Battery was dead on arrival. Also, you can't turn off the timer unless you remove the battery! That's probably why the battery died upon arrival.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings everything is fine

Bought 3, all 3 died after first battery change

Taylor the quality seems to have gone down; I bought these to replace a Taylor timer that is no longer working. All three failed after the first set of batteries died and I replaced them. It has turned into a waste of money.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Vulgarity

can you hear me now

If you want to hear the timer signal, keep it close to you. Otherwise, buy another timer. Compare this to ThermoWorks timers; If you do, you will likely buy a ThermoWorks timer (although the ThermoWorks timer is more expensive).

No wonder it's cheap junk plastic with terrible build quality

What a terrible product. This took about 2 days and now it only shows the number four and keeps beeping when the battery is inserted. It doesn't respond to any button presses. No wonder, because it is cheap plastic junk with miserable processing quality. I think that's what you get with this Chinese crap. Too bad, it doesn't look like there are any decent 10-button timers on the market right now.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Safety

I've had a smaller 10 Kai timer for about 8 years that I loved and since covered in dust I've been after looking for a replacement. According to a few others, this larger Taylor is the best I've found. It's a bit bigger than I'd like (more like a calculator than a timer) and doesn't have all the features I want, but it's good enough. For example, if you press "Start" it doesn't count; It doesn't start counting seconds after the timer runs out and it's a bit confusing to reset it. It attaches…

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Faded
