This was for the hatch on my boat. There were issues with popping out. I noticed a broken retaining clip. I contacted Taylor by phone and a very nice customer service lady quickly took my information. A few days later I received replacement brackets for both ends and for both cylinders. This hatch lift was a replacement for a trunk lid that I couldn't close while boating. Everything works great with this lift and the lock on the manhole cover itself. I also don't have to worry about kids pulling it down once it's open as I bought a £120 damper and that's it and more! rzunimag. With two of them, that's probably enough to keep the engine hatch open!

Spring was about $18 less than OTC. I bought these SS gas jacks to hold the rod locker doors on my Everglades 243. My only real complaint is that there are NO INSTALLING INSTRUCTIONS ANYWHERE.
