Great shaving cream! Or is it shaving soap?

It must be "cream". I bought 5 jars of Cedarwood Shaving Cream and I love how it smears and smells. But they have an expiration date. The first three were soft - like "icing on the cake", as the manufacturer describes it. It was a pleasure to use. When lathering you have to be careful with the water; It's easy to get the mixture too wet (if you see a lot of bubbles). But you can simply add a little more cream and bring the mixture in the bowl to the desired foam. To me, "just right" is like the

Vendor: You sent me old creams!

Haven't ordered any cream for a long time. It arrived quickly but it struck me as odd as if the cream had split and gone soft. I contacted Taylor directly at Old Bond and asked what the problem, if any, might be. They said it was probably an old product and advised buying the cream directly from them to avoid the old product. The smell is still there, although not as intense and fresh as usual, and the cream is still working, but not. the foam is just as good. I have not made a return as I work

First class men: shaving and hair removal

I've heard that TOBS is the best shaving soap by which all others are measured. I finally tried some. I like woody scents and chose cedar. Unfortunately, the taste is very weak. It's fun at best. In terms of performance, TOBS did not disappoint. I put a small amount in a bicrops bowl I bought from Revain which has ridges and is amazing. I wet the synthetic WCS brush and then ran it, correctly assuming it wouldn't need much water. In a minute I had whipped up enough thick foam for three calls. I

Taylor of Old Bond Street makes the best shaving cream in the world!

I have an unusually thick beard that is difficult to trim. I have never come across an electric shaver that is not very painful to shave as it does not seem sharp or powerful enough to trim my facial hair. So I would always use a safety razor and lather my skin with some kind of shaving soap or shaving cream in a jar using a shaving mug and brush. I've been shaving for 40 years and have used too many brands of shaving cream or soap to remember. I've spent the last 40 years searching for the…

ATTENTION! Illegal products from TOOBS!

Summary: This is a simplified version of the original product. This seller (Taylor from Old Bond) is a fake. Original: Taylor from Old Bond Street. I have already ordered twice from this seller hoping that my first order was just a fluke. After reading all the reviews from people interested in consistency, I see that I'm not alone. The actual product of TOOBS is a very thick cream. You can put it upside down in a canister for hours and not move at all. I actually do it with a real product…

An excellent shaving cream with a delicate natural scent.

This was my first exposure to shaving creams and I have to say I love it. I can't compare it to other Taylor's products or other high end shaving creams but I have to say that it lathers faster and smears much better than the shaving soap I've used and it feels and smells a lot better than normal soap. Pharmacy shaving products. This material lubricates the skin exceptionally well. Browsing the web, I started with the usual advice about an "almond-sized" spoon, but quickly found it was too much

Different from other Taylor shaving creams

As someone who has used Taylor shaving creams for many years I was disappointed with this cream. Others were creamy, gave a comfortable shave and left the face moisturized. It was a harsh soap that had to be lathered up with a wet brush. This may be normal for some people, but it feels more like a soap than a cream. And after using it for a few weeks, I found that it made my skin dry and more difficult to use than other Taylor creams. I still recommend Taylor, but not this particular cream.

Great shave, great product

I am very happy with this shaving cream. It is very easy to apply with a brush. You only need a spoon the size of your fingertip to get a nice lather that lasts a while. You can add some water to get the consistency you want. As a result, the razor glides very gently over my skin. I've found that when I feel like I've missed a spot and need to wipe again, it doesn't hold up to a second pass, but there's always enough left on my brush so I can easily apply more without overdoing it take from the
