By price. it should have lasted longer

Cheaply made, looks cheap (looks better on pictures than real) and started to fail after about a year. where the timer will stop by itself or not stop when you stop it. Disappointed. Edited: 18 months after purchase, had to throw it away. The bottom timer stopped working at all and the top one didn't always start. Or stop whenever you want. Went in the trash today.

Good Timer - Kitchen Tools & Gadgets

Just ordered this timer after we broke an identical one we have had for years. It's that easy to install. Love twice in one block. It's nice and loud. We use it all the time. The other held up well until I dropped it on the tile floor. In fact, he was still working, but something broke from behind and he couldn't get up - he had to either lay him flat or lean on an apron. There are still if we ever need three or four timers running at the same time.

You have to reset the time every time you use it

If the alarm clock rings and you stop it, the interval is lost. You must reset each desired time slot again. Small inconveniences? If you just wanted the timer to always measure the same two intervals, resetting is a waste of time. My kitchen time - Polder - saves an interval and resets to it when you stop the timer. Working on the computer for 45 minutes and then wanting to rest your eyes for 15 minutes is too cumbersome.

Pros
  • Great choice
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Good design but poorly made

In my opinion: Pros: 1, Works well. 2, clock 3, large digits 4, clipper 5, fridge magnetic stick 6, stand pins 7, cheap (within $10) strong 3, when pressed, a shadow appears and flashes 4, the color of the bottom and the back is a little blue and pink. I don't like it (I'm a man) 5, the outer plastic is very bad. Some of them are sharp and can even hurt finger skin 6, made in China. I bought two Taylor watches. Others are ugly, but they have better numeric displays and buttons than this one.

Good but no countdown/stopwatch mode

It does what it says on the tin and can't complain about the price. Although I have some clarifications I wish I had known before buying: 1- It has a clock mode but no option to show the time on a timer display and use another timer display for the timer. These are either all clocks or all timers, although you can manually switch between them if both timers are running2 - there's no countdown timer! Although the countdown timer will start counting down once it reaches zero, there is no way to…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • No insurance

I loved the idea of this timer but you can't press the buttons while it's glued to the fridge or just leans in, loses balance and falls off the fridge. My kids have made it twice and the second time it just stopped working. I understand they dropped it, but I was hoping that the kitchen timer would either be a) a little more durable or b) be usable by sticking it to something with a magnet without fear of it falling off. UPDATE 25.08. 2014: Well the company unexpectedly contacted me after my…

I love that I can have 2 timers at the same time

I use the second of these timers/clocks. It's enough for me to place it discreetly on the table next to the chair in the living room. It can be used as a small watch with a date function. I like that I can have 2 timers at the same time. This is useful for cooking, washing, and a variety of other tasks. I found it easy to set up both the clock/date face and the timers. The first of these timers I bought lasted a few years, but over time the start/stop/enter button would get stuck making the…

I would not buy again.

Only got two today for a few purposes. I liked the idea that you can use two timers at the same time and when they are not in use the time and date are visible. It's a little inconvenient to have a switch on the back of the device that has to be manually toggled from timer mode to clock mode to use every function. Although I can live with that. I also bought these timers because Taylor is a well known brand for professional use in my line of business. I work in the culinary field. However…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Weak set

I was looking for a replacement for an old Taylor timer I had for about 5 years when it finally died. Then I bought one from Dollar Tree but it was too weak so I went with the Revain and I liked that you could set a 2 timer with this one so I bought it. I do not like it. To switch from timer one to timer two you have to firmly press the side buttons, which leads to my next problem: if you try to press the buttons while this timer is on your fridge, it will fall off. You need 2 hands to click…
