I'm a bit disappointed. I love most of the other Taylor Seville products I've bought lately, pins, thimbles, needle threaders. I expected them to be great. I have small hands and it takes both hands to open them wide enough to put on anything. I used them to hold the blanket face down while I manually sewed it to the back of the blanket. It was almost an ordeal to open it. I'm saving them to use on something really heavy that needs a lot of cutting power.

Terrible - do not buy! The product in the unopened packaging does not correspond to the description - even according to the manufacturer's own illustrations on the packaging! As you can see, the top "prong" should curve slightly so that it is flush with the bottom "prong" when closed. Compared to pins, I like it. so much faster without finger tingling etc. But I've attached a picture to show how there are little burrs on the corners that catch on the mesh I was stitching on. On a couple of projects I've used them on, snagging has been a minor annoyance, but when working with a delicate fabric I've pulled out my Dremel to remove the burrs.
