Description of ☕ Premium Quality English Breakfast Tea - Taylors of Harrogate, 50 Teabags

This much-loved classic is a special blend of teas from two of the world’s most famous tea growing regions, India and East Africa. The taste is full-bodied, rich and refreshing, with a bright, inviting colour, making it the ideal tea for enjoying not just at breakfast time, but also at any time of the day. For the perfect cup we recommend that you use one tea bag. Add freshly boiled water and infuse for 4-5 minutes. Serve with or without milk to taste. High in antioxidants; brisk, stimulating flavor perfect with lemon or milk.

Poor unwrapped tea bags

Unwrapped tea bags in a box of 50 are significantly inferior to the same type of tea I received wrapped tea bags in a Taylors of Harrogate sampler. They don't smell like packaged tea bags and have a different taste. Also, tea bags contain small bits of tea and tea dust that leave residue in the cup. I will try 20 boxes of wrapped tea bags hoping to get the same great tea as the one in the sample. I could use them to dye fabrics with tea, but I won't use them to make tea.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • No performance

Mug Hug - Tea Samplers

I'm easily influenced by TV lol. As a big fan of The Mentalist, I've noticed that Patrick Jane often orders Lapsang Souchon. As a tea lover, I was curious what kind of tea it was and ordered a box. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely a hug in a circle. When I first received the package, all I could do was smell it. Smells very earthy and very aromatic. The smoky leaves are very noticeable. I fell in love with her after the first cup. This is a tea for tea lovers. It's…

Must be an acquired taste

A roommate bought this tea because a friend recommended it for its smoky aroma. The smell reminded me of a smothered fire. The smell was only charred wood and water; I couldn't even tell it was tea. We tried different brewing times and additives. Even if I held my breath, the taste of the tea was burnt. I'm not kidding: when the smell of a box on a shelf high above his head made the cat cough, we wrapped it in plastic and put it away. My roommate took it to work to see if we were just…

Goodbye coffee - coffee, tea and cocoa

When the coffee machine last belched three years ago, I decided to clear out the counter and find an alternative breakfast drink. I wanted to avoid a lot of caffeine, but not sacrifice flavor. After much trial and error, this Scottish breakfast tea was the answer. With two teabags I can make 40 ounces. a tea kettle strong enough to hold halves but not bitter if left overnight. It retains its fresh flavor even after being microwaved, a trick coffee never learned. I love the malty flavor and…

Great for ice tea too!

It makes fantastic iced tea too. I've been trying to find iced tea that comes out clear without much effort. Lipton, Luzianne, Tetley, these teas are all a bit finicky when trying to brew them properly. If you boil too long, you sometimes end up with a cloudy, messy tea. And I love it when my iced tea is clear, like polished amber. It's so hard to screw up. I use four packets in a Pyrex measuring cup. I can get away from it while it's brewing. After about 6 minutes or so I check it. Then I pour

Taylor's Irish Breakfast Tea

This blend is my favorite of all the Taylors blends. I hope they never stop doing this. To be clear, I learned how to drink tea in England and it's one of the things I like to bring home with me. I have tried all of Taylor's tea blends and found that many people do not understand why there is a difference between them. I've also noticed that people are asking for other mixes on this subject. Strange. In any case, this blend, IRISH BREAKFAST tea, is wonderful. I don't mind packaging tea bags, to
