Front rubber bushing is very weak, no matching rear bracket spacers included. Used the spacers provided and made the pitch too wide. My hard case broke off the first time I used it

Almost everything but the metal brackets was junk. The black mounting lugs were soft rubber and crumpled when trying to tighten the screw. They must be made of ABS plastic or have metal bushings. The screws looked good but were so cheap that 3 of them broke while tightening. Look elsewhere for a more reputable kit.

Good - much cheaper than Harley parts Bad - not Harley quality, no instructions, ended up having to download the Harley kit instructions to get them to install. It turns out that this kit does not include the correct shims (adjustable thickness shims) needed for the '99 Road King. Had to take it apart, buy Harley spec spacers and reinstall.

You will receive a few kits of parts. Good luck figuring out how to put them together. I searched You Tube and found one for the 2001 Electra Glide Classic which helped me with my 2005. The set used in the video was different but with an illustration about 5 minutes later. He helped me with the installation. I'm not sure if the front mounting post is correct, but I'll check. I still have a lot of gear left.

These are heavy duty brackets but no details so had to guess which screws and spacers to use. I searched YouTube videos and photos and finally found one, but I had to put them on the bike and try them out so it took a long time to get it right. I put this on an ultra classic 2008 Harley Davidson. I installed a detachable sissy bar and detachable brackets for the tour pack, both of which were difficult without instructions.
