🎶 Rare TDK SA90 High Bias Cassettes -5-Pack (Discontinued by Manufacturer): Limited Edition Music Nostalgia Review

Always bought Maxell Highbias and decided to try TDK Highbias and some Sony because very good tapes sound clear. I record a lot on XM RADIO, so if I don't like all the songs on the CD I just pick my own songs.

Bought TDK SA. There is TDK SA. But that would mean a different year than the box pictured in the listing. The tapes shown in the list are roughly from 1992-1995. However, the tapes I received have a blue case from 1997-2002. So you still belong to SA. Good SA. However, please note that you may receive a different year of construction than the pictures suggest.

Before I moved abroad, I needed good quality cassette tapes to record many songs. I had to leave a lot of albums in the US. These cassettes did their job.

It's getting tough to find a high offset cassette tape but these guys still have some good stuff. I use it to transfer music from LP vinyl to cassette and then record analog using my desktop computer's sound card and an old Sony Walkman cassette player, which still works great. The free Audacity software with the MP3 plugin completes the conversion to a digital format that I can play on any modern music player, even (sigh) an iPod, but I use Sansa (much cheaper and I can replace the battery…

High Offset (Type II) is my preference for recording singing lessons. It's hard to come by, so I was happy to find this set of five TDKs. Too bad the product has been discontinued.

The product does not correspond to the description or the photo of the product. Advertised factory sealed cassette in gold packaging, preserved - separate cassettes glued together, manufactured in different years. Overpaid, very disappointed.

As an aging music fan who still finds a use for cassettes, I've found that these TDK cassettes work in my deck but Maxell's don't. I used to prefer Maxells, but times have changed.
