But fits tight. Great for money.

Excellent product. Definitely tough for a pit bike. Installed on a PW80 and only needed shims for proper placement. I weigh 150 and can only hop a little. Definitely an upgrade to the stock suspension because I ran out of it. But very, very hard. Although it fits well.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Large golf cart rear shock

Bought this shock as a cheap replacement for rear shocks on an old golf cart. OEM replacements cost over $100 each. It was very close to the stock sizes I replaced. It fits great and now I can put more weight on the back of the cart without lowering it. I would definitely order again.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • No instructions

Works great on a Hawk 250

This shock worked great on my son's Hawk 250 It lowered the bike about 2 inches and so far is much better than the original shock. When installing on a Hawk 250 you will need lots of washers or something else to use as washers as the ends are narrower than stock. I'm planning to order another one for my off-road bike to see how it performs.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Weak kit

Is it just me or rrr...?

The dimensions I required matched what was stated on the product when I bought it. The package came in a crumpled, unsealed box, info 0. The inner sleeve cuffs were pushed out about 1/4 inch and needed sanding to fit. The product did not look like the picture, no idea where they get Β£980 from. 6' 180# and after set and basically max preload the shock can barely ride with me and handle small bumps, anything, and it's fully compressed. I ordered 295mm for my ssr 160tr. Will have to order…

Pros
  • Excellent fit for me
Cons
  • Easy to maintain

High quality shock absorber but tough for pit bikes.

I installed this on a pw80 for 180+ adults. Ride hard and jump a little. In truth, it's definitely overkill as it's very stiff, even fully rolled up. The number 980lbs was stamped on the spring. Now I can steer my bike much faster in the woods and jump on it without worrying about hitting the ground. Something designed for less weight would be better as I hardly move it. However, I'll leave it on because it's still a lot better than the stock damper. Everything is well done except for the…

  • Worth the money

  • Ok
