Die Hynix. It's impossible to get the full 4000MHz out of it. Terrible timings and very unstable when dragging the profile tuming.xmp 1.35GHz bumped it up 0.1 to 1.45GHz, still couldn't load 4000MHz. tried on 5 z370 gaming motherboards at 8700k and also tried on Asus x570 Hero with the same results. I upgraded from a 32GB 3600 CL14 TEAMGROUP kit. I bought two 3200 64GB kits and they don't work stably with XMP. I chose the 3600 kit. It's worse! It just crashes at idle. I am extremely disappointed. TEAMGROUP has been amazing in the past, but the Hynix 3200 chips and Micron 3600 chips don't seem anywhere near the quality of the Samsung B-Dies I had before. They work well on their nominal xmp. There are no functional problems. They look and feel premium. They are beautiful. The only downside is that they are not very bright. Maybe 1/4 brighter than the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro. They will look amazing in a darker build. In an assembly with very different lighting, they are not visible. Great for a darker premium PC. If you have this RAM you need to go into BIOS and enable XMP. If you don't do this, the RAM will not run at the advertised speed. If you don't set up the motherboard properly, it will run at stock speed without overclocking. See screenshot of 2400MHz which you can check by going to "Task Manager".
