So my 4-pin 4-cable fan splitter came in a nicely sealed package, but after opening it I unpinned all the pins on the cables and one was missing each of the cables cables. but one had all the pins very bent and I had to manually bend them in place. To my surprise, the 2 cables I used work even though they were damaged. I would say try another brand or buy at your own risk. I have a mini-ITX system with minimal headers so a large splitter was required. 4 case fans work without problems. I don't overclock so can't comment, but my system is quiet and cool.

The PWM pins need some alignment. I need to correct the alignment of 3 out of 4 PWM pins. One more thing, I feel that the size of the pins is a bit larger than what is already suitable for fans.

Upon further investigation, the missing pins are for motherboard connectors that are not needed in the splitter. Product works as intended, first review below is OLD, READ ABOVE*** 3/4 wires are not making contact. I read customer reviews and decided to take a chance; Take my advice and don't risk it. They work really great. As mentioned, only one connector has an RPM sensor cable. This prevents system confusion when attempting to read the fan speed. If each connector on the splitter had a speed sensor cable, the system would get multiple speed readings on the same mobile fan connector. This can confuse the system and cause problems. This is well designed and to work properly make sure you connect a fan to the RPM sensor head.
