Works well with the right kit for the Mac version.

This was a very simple setup for our Mac Mini. If you're buying for a Mini, make sure the maximum amount of RAM matches the Mini version you're upgrading from. We have a 2003 model that doesn't support the 16GB kit; However, the 8GB kit changed the world. Login time has been reduced from 2 minutes to less than 10 seconds. Before this update we had 2GB.

I bought this RAM for my 2010 Mac Mini, it worked great for about a year and then my computer kept getting panic alerts and restarting at least daily. I thought it was a hard drive error and checked the drive and it said it had some kind of backlinks and such, reformatted the drive and tried to restore it from my time machine and finally after a 4th time and a day it said, that it was successful so I'm working on it and it's still failing. Running memtestosx on it and crash after crash. It's…

Easy installation for computer components

Installs on Mac mini to upgrade from 2GB to 8GB. Easy to install, the memory came well packaged and quickly after ordering. Easy to install, no tools required. This is a good way to reduce the load on your computer and maybe speed it up a bit. I would recommend A-Tech Components for memory.

The RAM seemed to work fine for a few months and then my MAC mini.

Received and installed this 16GB memory in a "vintage" Mac Mini. At first everything seemed fine, although as expected I didn't see any increase in performance from 8GB to 16GB. The RAM seemed to be working fine for a few months, and then my MAC mini started experiencing daily panics and kernel reboots after a recent Apple High Sierra update. I thought it was software, but I couldn't find or isolate the specific application or driver that might be causing the problem. As a last resort, I…

Fabulous! in Computer Components

Brilliant! 100% working, and yes, an upgrade from 8MB to 16MB makes my computer faster for even the most basic tasks like loading webpages, saving files and all those little tasks. I use Photoshop CS6 and photos load faster from my iPhone and hard drive and save much faster too. No more waiting for a save before hitting the window's close button. Just wondering what can happen if I switch HD to SSD? Terrible thing!

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • A few little things
