I replaced a DSLR strap with this strap and OP/TECH USA Utility Loop Connectors and can now easily remove the strap , if necessary (Put the lens on the gimbal, put a plastic bag on the camera, and attach the strap to the camera through the holes in the bag, etc.). Seems like a good combination. The weight distribution on my neck is also much better. The hooks are well made.

Op/Tech straps are great. I use them for all my bags as they make the bag lighter. They're good enough for Tom Bean and a lot more comfortable than the Red Oxx Claw Strap. I have both the SOS strap and the mini SOS strap and there is no significant difference between the two, the strap itself is also quite strong, I don't think 1 inch width vs 1.5 inch makes a difference would do.

After trying to add some shoulder pads to an existing iPad case strap and none of them helped to stabilize the case on my shoulder, I decided to try this version try out the shoulder Optech. Strap and, voila. It works wonderfully. I know OpTech, having used several of their professional grade straps with my cameras over the years, and know the quality, durability and reliability of their products. I should have bought this harness sooner.
