European bike adapter

I am using this on a battery tender which allows me to switch from an SAE to (US standard) cigarette lighter plug to a smaller BMW motorcycle charger plug.

Fits very loosely in Tools & Equipment

Yes it makes an electrical connection but fits very loosely. All of my other connectors that fit the car/bike side are very tight so this is clearly not my bike.

Charge or maintain your battery with ease.

Very easy to use if your bike has an extra power outlet. I use this on my Triumph Street Triple RS and have no problem charging or servicing the battery.

Not only for cars - I use it with portable starter

starter pack with air compressor. My jumpstarter has its own internal charger but I prefer to know that the battery charges even better and smarter than what comes with the jumper and when the Optimate 2 isn't doing other things I use it with this adapter for a long-term service jump-start.

Is there a BMW motorcycle with a CAN bus?

If you have a BMW motorcycle with CAN bus battery charging and you are using an OptiMate charger you will need this cable to use it. Perfect fit and well constructed. It is an excellent and economical alternative to the BMW system. The quality is excellent, so don't hesitate to buy it if you not only want to charge your BMW motorcycle battery but also want to get the standard cigarette lighter function.
