I use it with Libib and it works out of the box, scans very small QR codes, low quality, scans mobile phones or computer screens with no problems and also perfectly supports EAN label types. No complaints, great scanner.

This scanner is slower than others but always works. Two-dimensional codes are usually read on paper and glass. He reads 1d codes slowly from time to time, but not always. The 1d codes on the glass seem to give it the most trouble, but a slight flick of the wrist seems to activate them. I'm keeping it because we mostly read 2D codes at our registration booth.

I bought this device because the manual says it allows USB COM port emulation and I was very happy to know it's possible! I didn't use this vendor's COM port emulation driver because it wasn't signed. Instead, I used a DataLogic com port emulation disk, which worked fine for my purposes. Be sure to download the user manual that came with the listing in the datasheet section. It contains all the barcodes you need to set up your scanner the way you want it.
