The idea and use of these things is GENIUS. My almost 2 year old HATEESSSS has loose hair but it's quite thick and uncomfortable to use. I understand that they can't be too thin as they break easily, but I feel like they could be a little smaller for practical reasons. It's definitely worth it, just be aware that it's not a perfect design.

Love these bands for those little rubber bands that are very painful to untie! No more tears from my girls. You need to use them correctly and pull back the elastic to cut the elastic, not the hair. My daughter used it extensively before I could and cut a lot of hair lol it's a little patch. So now they are not allowed to use it without my presence, but other than that it works great. Just use it properly.

I bought this to remove my pup's hair ties. Before when I took her out, part of her hair was with an elastic band. I tried it, wasn't sure if it would work well or not and I was totally amazed. I've been using these clippers for a little over a year and have just bought 3 more to keep around the house as some of these have disappeared. That's great! We use them every day and my daughter feels no pain or tightness compared to trying to remove the elastic with my fingers. Definitely worth every penny.

Be very careful when using. The hooks are very thick and difficult to attach to the rubber band to keep hair out of the way between the blade and the band. She cut my daughter's hair! You have to think about making the hook much thinner than it actually is. I won't say it's a bad product because it isn't. But be very careful when using it.

I'm so glad I know they exist! My daughter finds it easier to remove tight hair bands this way.
